Oh how we love the classics around the Farmhouse! The classic tuna salad sandwich is a favorite in the kitchen. We have modified this recipe a bit, but the recipe I am sharing with you today is the family favorite recipe.

Ingredients:

First you must gather all the ingredients.

  • Tuna
  • Dill pickles plus juice
  • Onion
  • Mayo
  • Mustard
  • Olive juice
  • Black pepper
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Eggs
  • Celery

Preparing Tuna Salad:

To begin you will want to drain out the liquid in the tuna cans and begin the process of making your hard boil eggs.

I like to add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix everything together to make a consistent mixture.

Put this mixture into a container and cover with a lid. Place the mixture in your refrigerator and let sit for about an hour.

Then use your favorite bread (we love this on homemade focaccia bread) to enjoy the best tuna salad sandwich.

Storage:

Store in a covered bowl for a few days. Our’s usually doesn’t last that long.
